Ginger Apples with Balsamic Glaze

I’m not a huge dessert person, but this. is. delicious. I’m not even joking. We’ve all had the same old “cinnamon apples” and I decided I was going to make it a little differently. Well first I didn’t have cinnamon. Or nutmeg. Or allspice or whatever. So this is what I did:

Chopped up an apple in even slices

So as per usual, I melted a little butter and added the apples. Over the top I sprinkled a generous helping of ginger and sugar.

So I was skeptical about Adding the balsamic but thought it could taste really good. But what if it didn’t work? Just to be safe, I took out half the apples (and they were freaking delicious). And the added a splash of balsamic vinagrette. Not much but OOOOOHH so good! It’s a tangy and fantastically unexpected end to any meal.
